Bakka for Import & Export was established in 2004 as one of the leading companies in the field of import and export within the Egyptian market and international markets.
The company initially launched its core business by importing timber from the world’s largest wood-producing countries, renowned for the quality of their raw materials. Since its establishment, Bakka has been importing the finest types of timber from Germany, Finland, Sweden, and Russia.

Red Pine, White Pine, Scandinavian Wood (Musky), Whitewood, and other types — providing high-quality raw materials that meet the needs of the local market and the demands of our clients across various industrial and commercial sectors.
With growing expertise and expanding operations, Bakka didn’t limit its business to timber import only. The company developed its activity in domestic timber trade, offering a wide variety of wood products to the local market.
To meet export market demands, the company also manufactures wooden pallets used for packing and shipping exports, adhering to international quality and safety standards — providing integrated solutions for its clients in both import and export services.
Between 2006 and 2017, in line with the company’s commercial growth and diversification strategy, Bakka expanded its import activities from China, bringing in a variety of products including perfume bottles, women’s clothing, and other merchandise. This move strengthened Bakka’s position as a reliable and diversified supplier in multiple commercial sectors.
In 2017, Bakka restructured its business activities to align with evolving market trends and the company’s strategic vision — placing greater focus on the timber and wood industry, alongside the export of fruits and agricultural products. This move supported the company’s expansion plans and reinforced its position in both local and international markets.
As part of its growth strategy, Bakka launched its fresh fruits and agricultural products export business in 2020, successfully exporting to several international markets including:
the UAE, Finland, Sweden, France, Germany, and Italy.

Valencia oranges, strawberries, pomegranates, grapes, mangoes, concentrated juices, dried fruits, sun-dried tomatoes, and a variety of other premium agricultural and food products.
